How and where to look for a job in Finland? What makes my job hunting successful? These questions were answered at todays ”Effective job hunting” English information session arranged by Luckans integration service Bridge. The participants were given valuable tools for finding a job in Finland by lecturer Ann-Jolin Grune (Delaktig i Finland) who focused both on tips and channels: municipal recruitment channels, job boards, open application procedure. There are several ways of finding a job and most importantly: ”Focus on your core competences and accept that no is part of the process, don´t give up” says Grune who has been working with assisting immigrants in finding jobs for years.
